The ten very spacious and well-equipped sea view holiday apartments on Pyttegården are situated on a 17,000 sqm. plot of land with lawns, gardens, sheep pen, chicken run and playground, all surrounded by fields, a small river valley and panoramic sea views. Tulips, daffodils, marigolds, roses and all our fruit trees and berry bushes provide colour and sensory experiences year round.

We are not just the owners of Pyttegården, but it is also our home and where we lead our everyday life. We would like to share the joy we ourselves take in Pyttegården with our guests and thus we also are keen to share our knowledge and love of Bornholm.

A little extra for your holiday stay with us

The holiday apartments come with a starter set consisting of a dishcloth, tea towel, toilet roll, kitchen roll, liquid hand soap, dishwashing detergent/tabs and garbage bags.

Amenities

Our apartments are equipped with flat screen TVs and radio/CD players. The kitchen has a gas cooker and electric oven, coffee machine, electric kettle, refrigerator, cooking utensils, plates, bowls etc. In type B (one bedroom), C (two bedrooms) and D (3 bedrooms) there is a dishwasher and in type C a wood burning stove. The bathrooms are with WC, shower and washbasin.

Baby

Cots and highchairs are available on request. Duvets, pillows and bed linen are also available for babies.

Barbecue

A gas barbecue is available for use in the seating area near the playground.

Charcoal grills are available for use in the apartments’ terrace area. They are stored in the service room area.

Barbecue implements hang on the wall near the service room.

Bicycles

“Gudhjem Feriepark” on the outskirts of Gudhjem has a huge selection of bicycles to rent.

“Nordbornholms Cykelforretning” rents and delivers bicycles direct to your apartment. (See website www.nbhc.dk)

Books and reading material

Each holiday apartment has a small selection of books for children and adults in both Danish & English. Others available on request.

We have books, brochures and maps on Bornholm in the reception area. You are welcome to borrow them.

Play ground

The playground is equipped with a large trampoline, basketball area (balls hang in the service room area), swings, small sandpit, slide, seesaw and football area with two goals.

Pets

Pets are welcome in some of our holiday apartments at an extra charge, but must be kept on a leash, and aired outside the premises. Pet owners are requested to bring their pet’s eating and drinking bowls plus sleeping blankets. Furniture covers to protect the furniture are available on request.

Recommendations

We can provide lists of restaurants and cafes that we like to eat at, places we like to visit.

Smoking

All apartments are non-smoking. Ashtrays for smoking outdoors are provided on request.

Indoor swimming pool

Pyttegården pays an annual fee to Gudhjem Swimming Pool (www.gudhjemsvoemmehal.dk). This allows us to loan our guests a card giving complementary free access to the indoor swimming pool in the nearby town of Gudhjem.

Washing and drying clothes

Our service room has a washing machine, plus detergent, tumble dryer, electric iron plus ironing board, drying cupboard, freezer, vacuum cleaner and easy chairs.

Clothes drying racks are available in each apartment.
